New record catfish of the beginning of season 2011 for Anthony Grano a fidéle client of Lyon(France) which year by year beats its personal record three times in succession. He presents a fantastic fish of 2m23 for approximately 80 kg. He has needed to Anthony more than 20 minutes of intense fight by boat for managed to take up the fish to the dry. I had an excellent year of fishing in 2008, with the biggest Catfish caught fishing in the Tarn to Albi.

The current record is of 2m38 for 88kg and was acheived during a week stay for the Team Catfish Pro. " Simon Clarke" and " Catfish Conversation Group " Keith Lambert ".

Two other catches very close to the record were realized this year also, a catfish of 2m36 and 2m37 and weighing more of 86kg, A little less of 200lbs with several carps of more than 15 or 25 kg, fully scaled, mirror and Common, 44lbs and averages more than 15kgs 33lbs. Fishing the river in the South of France is another blank territory and I am convinced that the carp and the catfish are the biggest and records will be broken while fishing in France.
