I chose to develop my profession as an instructor/guide in ALBI, a key city of the Tarn department.
In 2004, after fishing many years on the edge of the river, looking for big Carps and Catfish and having won various competitions as one of the most prestigious enduro in France " Trôphée Carpiste on 2004 " said Cabanac, I just decided to develop more my skills and to make a success of the exam in becoming Instructor/Monitor.

I had an excellent year of fishing in 2008, with the biggest catfish ever to be caught in the Tarn.
The current record is of 2m38cm for 88 kg and two others, one of 2m37cm and weighing more of 86kg a little less than 200lbs and the second 2m36cm for 85 kg. With several carps of more than 20 kg, fully scaled, mirror and common, 44lbs and averages in more of 15kgs 33lbs. Fishing in the river in of the South of France is another virgin territory and I am convinced that the carp and the catfish will be in the biggest records in France.
I can only hope that while fishing in my company, record captures of Carp or catfish will be broken!!!
